Items Westline cannot accept for shipment, or that require special service. This list is for general guidance - federal and state regulations may apply beyond what's shown here.

Shipping a prohibited item can result in seizure, destruction, fines, and loss of all carrier liability coverage. If you're unsure whether your shipment is allowed, contact our support team before booking.

Always Prohibited

·Hazardous materials not properly classified and packaged per 49 CFR (DOT regulations)
·Explosives, fireworks, and ammunition
·Live animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, fish)
·Human remains, ashes, or body parts
·Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
·Currency, coins, and negotiable instruments in bearer form
·Firearms, firearm parts, and firearm magazines (unless shipped under a separately approved carrier program)
·Lottery tickets and gambling devices in jurisdictions where prohibited
·Items requiring temperature control beyond the carrier's capability

Restricted - Requires Special Service

·Alcoholic beverages (wine, beer, spirits) - restricted; contact support for licensed-shipper service
·Tobacco and vape products - restricted by state; recipient verification required
·Lithium batteries - must follow IATA / DOT packaging and labeling
·Perishable food - limited transit time and packaging requirements apply
·Dry ice - must be declared as a hazardous material
·Aerosols and pressurized containers - ground service only, ORM-D / Limited Quantity labeling
·Cannabis and CBD products - federal and state restrictions apply

High Value - Declared Value Required

·Jewelry, watches, and precious stones over $500
·Precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) in any form
·Fine art, antiques, and collectibles
·Electronics over $1,000 retail value
·Stamp and coin collections
·Furs and fur garments
